Profile

With around 8.500 students, University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna is the largest university of applied sciences in Austria. Molecular biotechnology represents one of the most promising research and economic sectors of the 21st century. The Biotechnology Section as part of Department of Applied Life Sciences at University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna, includes the bachelor's program in Molecular Biotechnology, the English-language master's program in Molecular Biotechnology and the Research Center Molecular Biotechnology.

R&D:Research and development are a significant and growing part of the activities of the Department of Applied Life Sciences at University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna. Partnerships with renowned universities, research institutes and hospitals as well as project-related funding from FFG, FWF and MA23 prove the recognized research expertise of the Biotechnology Section. In the Research Center Molecular Biotechnology, two research groups work in the fields of "Signaling Pathways" and "Immunology."
