X-Net is an Austrian technology solution provider founded in 1999. The success of the company largely bases on three pillars of the divisions network engineering, software and hardware development (with a focus on customised solutions) and research and development (e.g. regarding security solutions, artificial intelligence and post-quantum cryptography). R&D:X-Net is currently involved in numerous nationally funded projects, among them QCI-CAT which aims to develop modern encryption technology based on QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) for highly secure communication between public authorities or DesinFact which explores approaches to detect trends in early stages and assessing them for disinformation. The FakeShop Detector, the result of previous research activities, was recently awarded with the Austrian National Prize for Digitalisation 2024.
Production:RX400 is a compact, fully integrated desktop device including integrated computer, 4 front USB ports, label printer and touch screen and can be complemented with an internal DVD drive to import data from patient CD/DVD into PACS. Combined with leading DICOM solutions the system can be easily integrated into existing workflows. Patient USB sticks are produced as easy as you know it from patient CDs with the advantages of fast opening of data and high storage capacity that allows multiple studies.
