WWTF's mission is to support outstanding scientific research by providing funding resources. We embed our scientific work in socially relevant issues through carefully planned focus areas and active networking between disciplines and institutions. In addition to our funding activities, we offer services in the field of research and innovation through our subsidiary (WWTF GmbH). This is how we seek to contribute to a better world through science and research.
R&D:The WWTF funds a broad life science research, from basic biology to academic clinical research. In the last five years, these research foci have included understanding biology with AI/ML, chemical biology, precision medicine, and public health.
Services:Evaluations: Coordination of evaluations of national and international research institutions and organizations, as well as their programs and awards. Consulting: Development and moderation individually tailored strategy processes and offer consulting services in the field of science, research and technology. Projects and studies: Expertise in carrying out various national / international projects and studies.
