VASCage is a COMET Centre within the COMET – Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies Programme and funded by BMK, BMDW, Standortagentur Tirol, Wirtschaftsagentur Wien und Land Salzburg. OUR VISION is to extend the healthy lifespan in the ageing community by promoting vascular health. OUR MISSION is to conduct top quality life science research and to translate scientific findings into new products, processes and services.

R&D:VASCage – Research Centre on Vascular Aging and stroke:Our scientific approach is spanning the vascular ageing process from its early stages in the young to full-born vessel pathology in the elderly. VASCage combines experimental and epidemiological efforts and integrates a large number of population and patient cohorts as a rich source for translational R

Services:A unique feature of VASCage is the establishment of a nation-wide clinical trial platform primarily focusing on stroke. VASCage plans and performs clinical trials including study design and data analyses. We take care of ethics approval and compliance with regulations. We offer state-of-the-art secure data collection and management systems, qualified staff and certified laboratories.
