The focus of the UAS for Health Professions Upper Austria is to ensure high standards of education, practice and research in the area of health care professions. The UAS offers 8 Bachelor- and 3 Master-Programms in Linz, Ried, Steyr, Vöcklabruck and Wels. Founded by Oberösterreichische Gesundheitsholding GmbH, Kepler Universitätsklinikum GmbH and OÖ. Ordensspitäler Koordinations GmbH (OSKG) this sustainable cooperations ensure a strong basis of expert- and scientific know-how.

R&D:The guiding principle of research and development is targeted on people’s health and quality of life. Therefore the UAS for Health Professions Upper Austria contributes significantly in answering questions of healthcare and social system and focuses on assistive technologies as well as on health promotion and prevention.The close cooperation with enterprises and network partners in the field of practice ensures the transfer of scientific findings into practice.
