Prospective Instruments is a start-up located in Dornbirn, Austria, and Regensdorf, Switzerland. Founded by Dr. Lukas Krainer it started operations in 2019. Our main goal is it to provide the research and clinical community with a turn-key, flexible, modular and highly compact multimodal imaging platform. All researchers, scientists and clinicians should have access to high quality, affordable multimodal microscopes.

R&D:The company is focussing on multimodal multi-photon microscopes and femtosecond lasers for life science applications, clinical diagnostics and research. The microscopes combine multimodal imaging ranging from classical Epi-fluorescence up to multi-photon and higher harmonic microscopy with the flexibility of a free-moving scanhead allowing users to operate almost unlimited in the fields of life science. The femtosecond lasers are perfectly matched for multi-photon imaging.

Production:All devices are produced in-house and therefore meet the highest engineering standards.

Services:Prospective Instruments' portfolio includes two very unique services: BOOK A DEMO: Customers have the possibility to book a fully equipped demo device for the own facility to test the MPX microscope with their team and their samples. IN-HOUSE IMAGING SERVICE: Customers can either visit the facility and scan their samples together with the scientists onsite, or send in the samples for characterization and video chat with the scientists through the working process.

Sales/Distribution:Prospective Instruments works with sales partners in various countries to ensure direct contact and simple processes for the customers.
