Bayer Austria is a subsidiary of Bayer AG, based in Vienna, where about 190 employees are responsible for marketing, sales, medical information on Bayer-products and clinical studies.

R&D:Bayer is the only global company performing research in the field of both health and agriculture. Our global network employs about 15,100 scientists. In 2020 a total of €4.884 billion was spent on research and development, equivalent to 17.2% of sales. Bayer in Austria is actively involved in the identification and development of new active ingredients.
