AMVO (Austrian Medicines Verification Organization) was founded in December 2016. Purpose of the organization: AMVO is responsible for the national implementation of the EU drug verification system according to the FMD Regulation (2011/62) as well as the Delegated Act 2016/161. Its responsibilities are the organisation and administration (governance) and the technical implementation. Member organisations: PHARMIG, OeGV, PHAGO, ÖAK, ÖÄK Supervisory national authorities: BASG, BMSGPK
