AUSTROMED was founded in 1981 as the ‘Association of Medical Device Manufacturers in Austria’ and is now the leading Austrian organisation for all companies involved in the development, production, distribution and reprocessing of medical devices in Austria. 29,000 employees work in the 133 member companies of AUSTROMED and generate added value of 2.8 billion euros in the Austrian economy.

Services:We represent the common interests of our members vis-à-vis ministries, authorities, chambers, etc. and maintain constant cooperation with all relevant players in the healthcare sector at national and international level.
