In 1949, the company ‘Sigmapharm’ was established by Prof. Dr. Herbert Pichler and Dr. Herbert Punzengruber in Vienna. Prof. Dr. Herbert Pichler is still known to many as an aerospace medicine specialist and Austrian commentator of the first moon landing. In 1999, the production department was spun-off into the independent company ‘MoNo chem-pharm Produkte GmbH’. At present, our organization consists of Sigmapharm Arzneimittel GmbH and MoNo chem-pharm Produkte GmbH.
