The focus of the UAS for Health Professions Upper Austria is to ensure high standards of education, practice and research in the area of health care professions. The UAS offers 8 Bachelor- and 3 Master-Programms in Linz, Ried, Steyr, Vöcklabruck and Wels. Founded by Oberösterreichische Gesundheitsholding GmbH, Kepler Universitätsklinikum GmbH and OÖ. Ordensspitäler Koordinations GmbH (OSKG) this sustainable cooperations ensure a strong basis of expert- and scientific know-how.

The life science activities are bundled in centers of excellence at the four FH Upper Austria schools in Hagenberg, Linz, Wels and Steyr in order to realize an internationally visible main hub.
