The Austrian Generics Association is an association of 10 generics producers who are committed to providing Austrian patients with high-quality, affordable medicines. The aim of the association is, on the one hand, to inform the public about the advantages of generics and, on the other hand, to help shape current health policy debates. For an affordable healthcare system and to ensure broad patient access to high-quality medicines.

Sales/Distribution:The domestic production of the ten generics companies belonging to the Generics Association generates EUR 2.09 billion in sales, with the exporting generics manufacturers having an export ratio of around 87%.
