The online marketplace of the Graz-based company Probando facilitates the search for study participants for research institutions.

R&D:Probando is a marketplace for studies that brings together researchers and study participants. The focus is on transparency and publicity. The researchers simply state what the study is about, how many subjects they are looking for and what requirements they have to fulfill, and Probando takes care of the recruitment.

Production:The startup Probando was founded by Dr. Matthias Ruhri, Manuel Leal Garcia, Julia Harrer and Gernot Winkler in May 2020. Since then, several cooperations with medtech and pharma companies have already been successful.

Services:The search for suitable volunteers is one of the biggest hurdles - nine out of ten clinical studies do not reach their recruitment targets. The new Probando online marketplace will benefit the pharmaceutical and medical industries, as well as the cosmetics and food industries and other sectors that are constantly on the lookout for study participants.
