 About us:
The department of Orthopaedics is integrated in a teaching hospital. A section for experimental Orthopaedics is dedicated for research.
We treat our patients in 4 operating theatres and an outpatient clinic as well as in our physiotherapy department. Special equipment includes a modern gait lab, and all equipment for spinal cord monitoring.
We organize a PhD study for muscoloskeletal sciences.

 Research & Development:
We have developed and still improve the software EBRA to measure implant migration, together with the insitute for mathematics and geometry at Innsbruck University. The office of the European arthroplasty register is based at out institution. We regularily perform sponsered drug studies (pain, osteoarthritis, venous thrombosis). We have a long experience in research and development in robotics and navigation, and work currently with a robot prototype for medical purposes. A promising field of our activities is surgical education tools.

 Products and services / Sales:
We perform phase 2 and 3 clinical trials.
